The Pocatello community is coming together in grief following the tragic death of Samantha Dash, a woman whose life was lost during a disturbance at a residence on East Wyeth Street early Sunday morning. Family members, friends, and those who knew Samantha are mourning her passing and sharing heartfelt messages about how deeply she will be missed.
The incident began shortly after midnight when emergency responders were called to a home in the 800 block of East Wyeth Street after receiving a report of a woman who was unconscious and not breathing. The caller requested medical assistance, prompting a response from Pocatello police officers and fire crews.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities determined that a disturbance had occurred inside the residence and discovered that Samantha had died. Police confirmed that she lived at the home but have not released further details about the events that led to her death.
Investigators immediately launched a death investigation and secured the residence as a crime scene.
