BOXFORD, Mass. — A tragic highway crash on Interstate 95 South has claimed the life of 51-year-old Brett Martin, who died after being struck while attempting to help another motorist Monday night.
Massachusetts State Police identified Martin as the victim of the fatal incident, which occurred in Boxford as he stopped to assist the operator of a disabled vehicle. Investigators said Martin crossed the highway while trying to provide help when he was hit by a passing vehicle.
