The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Tammy Huth, a 53-year-old resident of Toms River, New Jersey, whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating traffic collision on the evening of July 30, 2026. Her sudden passing has left family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew her grieving the loss of a woman whose memory will forever remain in their hearts.
According to the Manchester Township Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:14 p.m. on Route 70 near mile marker 43 in Manchester Township. Investigators reported that Tammy was driving a 2019 Honda Civic eastbound when, for reasons still under investigation, her vehicle crossed the center line into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. The impact caused catastrophic damage to both vehicles.
Tammy was wearing her seat belt, and the vehicle’s front and side airbags deployed as designed. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, she was found unresponsive at the scene and was sadly pronounced deceased. She was the sole occupant of her vehicle.
