The Dearborn Heights community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Mohamad Ali Zeineddine, a 22-year-old whose life was tragically cut short following a fatal crash in Detroit on Thursday evening. His sudden passing has left his parents, siblings, extended family, and countless friends overwhelmed with grief as they remember a young man whose future held great promise. As loved ones gather to honor his memory, they reflect on the kindness, compassion, and lasting impact he made during his time with them.
According to investigators, Zeineddine was traveling eastbound on West Davison near Linwood Street when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck. The force of the crash caused the truck to catch fire, while Mohamad was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
Family members have announced funeral arrangements to allow relatives, friends, and members of the community to pay their final respects. Visitation will be held at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and again on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Islamic Memorial Gardens in Westland. An Isbouh (Commemoration Service) is also scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, at 4 p.m. at the Islamic Center of America.
Though Mohamad Ali Zeineddine’s life ended far too soon, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his family find comfort in the support of their community, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
