The DeKalb County community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 26-year-old Tyler Sieber, whose life was tragically taken in a violent road rage shooting along Interstate 285 in Georgia. Tyler’s sudden passing has left his family, friends, and loved ones devastated as they struggle to come to terms with a loss that came far too soon.

 

Authorities said the deadly incident happened Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. near the Buford Highway exit on I-285 West. DeKalb County Police responded to the area after receiving reports of a person being shot. When officers arrived, they found Tyler suffering from a gunshot wound.

 

Investigators believe the confrontation began after a traffic collision on the highway. Police said another driver struck Tyler’s vehicle, and Tyler followed the driver before the two vehicles eventually collided again. Both drivers stopped and stepped out of their vehicles, and what began as a traffic dispute quickly turned into a deadly encounter. According to police, the other driver pulled out a gun and shot Tyler before fleeing the scene.

 

The suspect remains missing, and authorities continue working to locate the person responsible for Tyler’s death. Loved ones are now left remembering Tyler for the person he was and the memories he created with those closest to him.
