The community of rural Genoa, Wisconsin, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Aaron J. Malin, 48, whose life was tragically cut short following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 35 near the La Crosse and Vernon County line. His passing has left family, friends, and neighbors grieving the loss of a man whose presence touched many lives. Though his journey ended far too soon, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on July 10 as Aaron was turning north onto Highway 35 from Mohawk Valley Road. His vehicle crossed the centerline and was struck by a southbound SUV. Emergency crews from the Stoddard-Bergen Fire Department worked tirelessly to extricate both drivers from their vehicles. Despite medical efforts, Aaron sadly succumbed to his injuries on the evening of July 11.
While the circumstances surrounding the accident remain a painful reminder of how quickly life can change, they do not define Aaron’s legacy.
