According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the heartbreaking incident occurred around 11 p.m. near West Nash Street and North Teutonia Avenue in Milwaukee’s Arlington Heights neighborhood. Authorities say two women, ages 48 and 49, were crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Both women suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver did not stop to help and instead fled, leaving behind devastation and unanswered questions.

 

As investigators work to identify the driver of the suspected Black SUV, the community continues to mourn the lives lost in this senseless tragedy. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward to assist in bringing justice to the victims and their grieving families.
