The Pineville community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Ernie “Big E” Garcia, 44, who tragically passed away after a motorcycle crash in Rapides Parish. According to Louisiana State Police, Garcia was seriously injured in the late-night crash on July 31 and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital on August 1. His untimely passing has left family, friends, and loved ones mourning a man remembered for his larger-than-life personality and kind spirit. The crash occurred at approximately 11 p.m. along Highway 498 (England Drive) near Powell Lane.
