The Edinburgh community continues to mourn the heartbreaking loss of Vikki Soloman, a 44-year-old woman whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating incident that has left family, friends, and many who knew her searching for answers. Vikki, the respected owner of Vikki Soloman Aesthetics, was remembered as a passionate professional, a dedicated businesswoman, and someone who made a lasting impact within the local beauty industry.
Emergency services were called to a residential address in Craigievar Square, East Craigs, on July 20 following reports of a disturbance. Vikki was found with serious injuries and, despite the efforts of responders, she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The incident led to the arrest of Lee Greenan, 46, who was charged in connection with her death and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, facing allegations of murder and assault.
In the days that followed, the tragedy took another turn when Greenan was found unresponsive at HMP Edinburgh on July 27. His death is now the subject of a mandatory investigation, with authorities confirming that there are no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding his death in custody.
